Warranty
If you find that a product is not functioning properly, you have a warranty on it.
Toners and cartridges can always be replaced free of charge with an identical product if the product proves to be defective. We may request the necessary information for this. If you prefer a refund, this is also possible. To determine if a toner or cartridge is not compatible with your printer, you do not need to install it. Doing so will result in a reduction in value!
Damage caused by yourself is not covered by the warranty. If the warranty is handled through us, we will collect the printer free of charge and have it inspected by our technical department. There is a chance that we cannot carry out the repair. The printer will then be sent to the manufacturer. After the repair, the printer will be returned to you.
Unfortunately, sometimes the printer cannot be repaired. In such a case, we can refund your purchase price. If the printer in question is still for sale, you can also receive a brand new printer.
In all warranty cases, PrintAbout will ensure that the products can be returned free of charge. You are responsible for sending the defective products yourself.
PrintAbout Printer Warranty
The PrintAbout warranty is a printer warranty you can purchase with your new printer. This provides additional coverage for your printer. If a technical defect occurs, we'll investigate the cause free of charge and resolve the issue for you. If, during our investigation, we discover your printer cannot be repaired, you're entitled to a comparable printer.
All your benefits at a glance:
- Free repair of your printer
- No deductible
- Repair not possible? Then you'll receive a replacement printer!
- No research costs
If an order contains multiple printers, you must purchase additional warranty coverage for each printer individually. The printer warranty does not automatically apply to all printers in the order. You can only purchase PrintAbout printer warranty coverage when you buy a new printer from us. You can then choose the standard warranty for your printer or an extension of up to 3, 4, or 5 years. The extension will incur an additional charge, but these costs are always lower than the cost of a new printer.
Select the number of years you want for your printer and add it to your shopping cart. Once your order is complete, you will receive an order confirmation and invoice. This will contain your order number, which you will need to activate your printer warranty.
Once you receive your new printer, you will automatically receive an email to activate the printer warranty.
Then, go to the printer warranty page to activate your warranty. Please have your order number and email address ready, as you will need these to log in.
Once you've completed both and logged in, you'll arrive at a page where you can enter your printer's serial number. Your PrintAbout warranty is then activated!
You cannot transfer the warranty to other people or parties. For terms and conditions, please refer to the full terms and conditions for private individuals or the terms and conditions for business customers .

Report a malfunction or defect
If you find the product defective upon receipt, please complete the returns form .
Ink cartridges or toners:
Before completing the form, please check the following:
- Whether you have removed the security:
- Whether resetting the printer will help.
If you're installing the new products in a new printer, we recommend installing the starter cartridges first, then the new products. If
the product works, but the quality isn't up to par, we recommend cleaning an inkjet printer or calibrating a laser printer. If the quality remains subpar, print a test print and include a photo of this test print with your return request.
NB. The number of prints listed is based on a 5% coverage rate.
Inkjet and laser printers:
If you experience problems during printer installation, we recommend contacting the manufacturer first. They can often best assist you. If
the printer was working before but no longer works, you can only complete the return form within the return period.
